Daisy Chain:
    The Unbeatable Mr.Beau


Before designing this app, I was assigned to create a Wikipedia daisy chain of 10 links, starting with my school’s mascot, Smokey. I then chose to build a trivia game where you try to outsmart the all-knowing Mr. Beau. Each question challenges the user to learn more about the links while trying to stay alive in the game. I created the illusrtations by hand then designed and coded the other elments as well.

My World!


For this homepage, I was restricted to using typography, color, my Language of Vision tools, and three images. I also included a specific set of questions that explain who I am as a designer and what interaction design means to me. This project was my first introduction to coding, and I wanted to match that digital style throughout.

Atomic Collage


I was assigned to redesign an artist’s website layout. I chose Led Zeppelin because of my love for their music, and I thought it would be a fun challenge to merge a vintage aesthetic with atomic elements. I based most of my design choices on their existing album cover art and created each collage piece to reflect the range of their music.2025

Type Hike Poster


The goal of this poster was to celebrate nature through typography. I chose Big Sky, Montana, to make this project a gift for my mom, who recently got married there. I used a halftone effect to create texture within both the type and the images. 2025




Top 10 Magazine Layout


For this spread, I was assigned to create a layout showcasing 10 different items personal to me. I chose to feature the Gel-X nail products I use and explain why they would be good for a beginner nail tech, using a Y2K dashboard popup style. 2024




Type Specimen Poster


I was assigned the typeface 'Sabon' at random and created a poster to display the elements and glyphs that this typeface has to offer in a dynamic way. 2024



ANIMATION

Music Video


I first selected the song “Summer’s Over Interlude” by Drake and Majid Jordan, and was then assigned to create a lyric music video in a punk art style. I took all of the photos myself, edited and printed them out, and then drew over them to create the illustrations. Lastly, I added the text and arranged the images to match the beat of the song and create a stop-motion effect throughout the video.2024




Kinetic Typography 


The objective of this project was to visually illustrate the meaning of a word kinetically, using only typography. I was assigned the word "Strike" to start, and then had to select another word for it to transition into seamlessly. 2024

DJ Symbol Set


I designed this instructional set to effectively demonstrate how to transition between songs on a DJ board, while making the symbols feel as if they belong in the club scene visually. 2024
